You can’t receive files on your BlackBerry Storm via Bluetooth unless you have the feature enabled. Here’s how to enable it.

1. Open the Media app.

2. Select a media type.

3. Press Menu.

4. Select Receive Using Bluetooth.

5. Select Yes.

6. Select Save.

How to turn Bluetooth on or off on your T-Mobile Google Android phone.

1. Press Home.

2. Press Menu.

3. Select Settings.

4. Select Wireless controls.

5. Check the Bluetooth check box to turn on Bluetooth services. Uncheck it to turn it off.

When Bluetooth is on, the B icon appears in the status bar.

Change the Bluetooth name on your Palm Centro. This name is used when other devices are identifying which devices to pair or connect to.

1. Press Applications.

2. Select Bluetooth.

3. Enter a name in the Device Name field.

4. Select Done when you are finished.

Are you not able to recieve any Bluetooth information on your Palm Centro that is getting beamed to you from another Palm Device? There is a setting that controls this, but it’s not in a location where one can easily locate it.

2. Select Prefs.

3. Select Power.

4. Set Beam Receive to On.

This setting is located under the Power Preferences because when the setting is enabled, it can reduce the life of your battery. If you decide to save power and disable it, turn this setting to Off to disable it.

1. From the Home screen, press Menu.

2. Click Options.

3. Click Screen/Keyboard.

4. Set Audible Roll to Mute.

5. Press Menu.

To make your Windows Mobile Device visible to Bluetooth devices, follow these steps:

1. Go to Start > Settings > Connections tab > Bluetooth

2. Switch to Mode tab and check Turn on Bluetooth and Make this device visible to other devices, then select ok.

Leopard: Add BlueTooth Device

How to add a BlueTooth device in Mac OS X: Leopard.

1. Open System Preferences > Bluetooth.

2. Ensure Bluetooth Power and Discoverable is turned on.

3. Click the + button.

4. Click the kind of device you have, and click Continue.

5. Click the name of the device you are adding, and click Continue.

6. You may get a prompt to enter a password. Enter the password for the device you are adding. The password should be either on the BlueTooth device or in the manual. Follow prompts on the device if necessary.

How to send an item from your Motorola Q to another device via Bluetooth.

1. Select Start > Bluetooth > BT Send Object.

2. Select the item type and the item you wish to send such as an e-mail, contact, task, calendar entry, audio, ring tones, pictures, video, or voice notes.

That’s it. You’re done.

1. Ensure Bluetooth is On in the Bluetooth application on both the sending and receiving devices.

2. Press Applications and select Pics&Video.

3. Select the album that contains the entry want to send. Select the picture.

4. Press Menu.

5. Select Send.

6. Select Bluetooth, and then select OK.

7. Select the devices you wish to send the photo to in the Discovery Results screen, and then select OK.

Leopard: Enable Bluetooth Sharing

How to enable Bluetooth Sharing in Mac OS X Leopard.

1. Open System Preferences.

2. Open Sharing under the Internet & Network area.

3. Under the Services area, check the box for Printer Sharing.

Send a program to another Palm device over your Bluetooth connection.

1. Open Applications > Bluetooth.

2. Select Bluetooth On.

3. Press Applications.

4. Press Menu.

5. Select Send from the App menu.

6. Select the Send From pick list and select whether the application you want to send is located on your device or on an expansion card.

7. Select the program you want to transfer. Programs with locks cannot be sent.

8. Select Send.

9. Select Bluetooth, and then select OK.

10. Select the device you are sending the program to on the Discovery Results screen, and then select OK.

How to connect your blackberry device to your Windows Vista computer.

To connect a Bluetooth Blackberry device to your computer, make sure that you first make the Blackberry discoverable (visible) and (if necessary) give the Blackberry a name. Complete the following steps:

1. Right-click the Bluetooth Device Notification area icon and choose Add a Bluetooth Device. Or open the Bluetooth Devices dialog box from the Control Panel or its notification icon and click the Add button at the bottom of the Devices tab.

2. Make sure that the Blackberry option for Discoverable is set to Yes under the Bluetooth settings.

3. From within Vista, check the box My Device is set up and ready to be found and then click the Next button.

4. Follow the remaining steps in the wizard including setting the passkey so that your computer and Blackberry can communicate.

After the wizard completes, Windows may prompt for additional software to be installed. You can tell Windows to look locally and on the Internet or to load the software for the device from a CD provided by the vendor.

Your Bluetooth audio device must be set as a default audio device in order for Windows Vista to route sound to it. Here’s how to set your Bluetooth audio device as default.

1. Go to your Control Panel and open Hardware and Sound.

2. Under Sound, click Manage audio devices.

3. In the Sound box, click the Playback tab, select the Bluetooth device, click Set Default, and then click OK.
