T-Mobile G1: Empty Trash
Posted on Oct 23, 2008 under Android Tips |When messages are moved to the Trash on the T-Mobile G1 Google smart phone, you will have to delete the messages individually in order to empty the Trash.
1. Expand the Trash folder to display the messages.
2. Touch and hold the message you wish to delete.
3. A menu appears where you can select Delete.

When I try to upload photos from my g1 onto my myspace its saying uploading disabled. How do I fix this so I can upload photos? Also, is there any way to copy images from the web and save it to my g1? Thanks for you time and patience! =)

I can’t permanantly delete the email in the trash folder. When I reopen the trash folder, my deleted emails reappear.

I second scott’s comment. The manual talks about using the Menu to empty the trash, and it simply doesn’t work. You can try deleting every message from the trash, and it pretends to work, but the next time you open the trash folder, all the messages reappear. The tip simply doesn’t work.

I use this phone for business and get about 40 plus emails per day. Is there any way to just empty (permanently) the trash/deleted without having to delete each one at a time? It’s time consumming and they keep coming back.

To save picture in G1 phone, Go to any website that you want to save picture. Touch your scree like for 3 seconds or more, you will see ” Save Image” and “View image”. Simply save in your SD card (G1 mobile).
Thanks.

There is no way to save pictures from picture messaging or emails. Which sucks really bad because who wouldn’t want to save their pictures, right? This needs to improve and exactly where is this empty trash folder? I need to learn how to delete trash from the system, not just email and stuff.
