Scooba: Blower Stuck

A friend of mine bought a Scooba robot mop. After a few weeks of use, it got stuck. The blower wasn’t blowing and it wasn’t sucking any of the cleaning solution. Luckily we were able to clear the problem. I thought I’d share the steps we took.

1. Access the filter and remove it.

2. Position a flashlight so that you can see into the filter housing.

3. You should be able to see a blue blade inside. Use a small, straw sized stick to manually rotate the blade. Move it back and forth to free up any muck that may have dried on it. After a while it should loosen up.

4. Give your Scooba another try. Hopefully you have the luck we did.
