Samsung Galaxy S4: How to Block Incoming Callers

If you are getting calls that you don’t want to deal with, you can block them on your Samsung Galaxy S4.

Method 1

1. Open the Phone app.

2. Press Menu.

3. Select Call settings.

4. Select Call block.

5. Select Call block list in the Incoming call section.

6. Tap the plus sign, then enter the phone number you wish to block.

7. Tap Save.

 

Method 2

1. Open the Contacts app.

2. Tap and hold a contact until a menu appears.

3. Tap Add to reject list.

 

Method 3

If you can called or had an incoming call from the number you wish to block, you can use this method.

1. Open the Phone app.

2. Tap the Recent tab.

3. Tap and hold the number you wish to block.

4. A menu appears. Tap Add to reject list.

 

When you add a number or contact to the reject list on the Galaxy S4, it automatically sends the caller to voicemail.

    I want to block numbers on my Galaxy s4, but I do not want the calls redirected to my voice mail. Is there anyway to completely block the calls without the caller being able to leave a voice mail message?
