Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Uninstall Apps

Uninstall unwanted apps from the Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone with these steps.

Option 1

1. From the Home screen, select Apps.

2. Tap the Menu button (left button below the screen).

3. A menu appears. Tap Uninstall.

4. Tap the icon next to the app you wish to remove.

Option 2

1. From the Home screen, select Apps > Play Store.

2. Press Menu > My Apps.

3. Select the app you wish to remove.

4. Tap Uninstall > OK.

Option 3

1. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings.

2. Select Application manager.

3. Select the app you wish to remove.

4. Tap Uninstall > OK.

Only applications that you have downloaded can be removed from the device. Many pre-installed “bloatware” apps are included on the phone by your wireless provider. Pre-installed apps cannot be removed unless you gain root access to your Galaxy S3.
