Reset iPod Nano (6th Generation)

If your 6th Generation iPod Nano is frozen and not responding, you may need to reset it using these steps.

1. Press and hold Sleep/Wake and Volume Down.

2. The screen should eventually go dark and restart.

My 6th gen nano is saying that it is fully capacity but there is nothing on it. No songs, no pics, no videos all empty. But if i try and sync it to my comp it says there is 12.9 Gb of other stuff on it, but I can not find it!!!
I tried to reset it by holding down the sleep and volume down buttons but it does nothing. It is the same when it comes back on.
