by j, on November 5 2009 @ 10:00 am

button on the top of phone makes no difference still don’t work on mine
by Ben, on November 9 2009 @ 11:49 pm
ok I figured it out. Once you select your ringtone, you have to go back to the sounds and ringtones screen by swiping the ball thingy left.
Sorry dont know what its called since I just got my palm.

Thanks, Ben. Your instructions are great. Been trying to figure that one out for weeks.

how do you change the ringtone for incoming text messages?
by pb, on November 20 2009 @ 5:02 am
msg 4 (Ben) works here for internal ringtones but does not change it to my added ringtone, though that appears on the list and plays OK. Is there another detail I do not know about, to add an external ringtone?

I cant get my pixi to set a text messege ringer. I go through the help thing and it shows that you can set ur text tone. But when I try it, it just has a on and off switch to choose from, not a set tone choice. What do I do?

Cannot get a ringtone to play on my phone , it was working just fine but now when I recieve a call there is no sound coming thru , the ringer is on and volume is up , I also just noticed that i cannot play my music , could this be a battery problem ? It’s charged up but might need to put a new one in…….are these signs of my battery going out??

Thank you! To the person who wrote “Once you select your ringtone, you have to go back to the sounds and ringtones screen by swiping the ball thingy( trackball) to your left!
This does it… too bad Palm did not state that in the manual…
It really works!

my pixi will not play the full ringtone when i get a txt how do i get to to play.?
by Sarah, on June 17 2010 @ 6:31 pm
okay guys, i figured out how to set a ringone to a text!!!!!!! go into the app “messaging”, at the top left click on “messaging” and a menu should roll down. from there, click on preferences & accounts” and next to the “ringtone” section it’ll say alert. click on alert and then choose ringtone and from there you pick a ringtone! hope this helps! and by the way, if you want to get ANY song and cool little effects and sounds and stuff, go to the app catalog and search for “Free Music Ringtones” it’s free and amazing! i love it and i’m addicted!

by marlo, on June 27 2010 @ 6:07 pm
what ball thingy?
by Steve Aplin, on June 28 2010 @ 8:46 am
oh god I hate this piece of crap. The “ball thingy” worked for changing the ringtone, but I can’t get this lump of garbage to accept changes to my email account. I swipe the Ball Thingy left, it indicates that preferences have been changed, then I go back to look and it’s exactly the same — i.e., it DID NOT accept the edit.
Here’s a radical software suggestion: why not just have a freaking OK button?????
