Outlook 2007: Enable Cached Exchange Mode

How to enable the Cached Exchange Mode feature in Outlook 2007.
This feature is also known as “Offline Files”.

This setting will enable the user to view email without the need to be connected to the Exchange server.

1. From the Tools menu, select Account Settings… .

2. Highlight the Exchange server account, and then click Change… .

3. To turn on Cached Exchange Mode, under Microsoft Exchange Server:, check the box next to Cached Exchange Mode.

4. Click Next, then click OK.

5. Click Finish.

6. Restart Outlook.
