Outlook 2007: Disable Screen Tips

How to disable the annoying help screen tips in Outlook 2007.

1. In Outlook 2007, under the Tools menu, click Customize.

2. Click the Options tab.

3. Under Other, uncheck the box for Show ScreenTips on toolbars.

this doesn’t help. The screentips on toolbars disappear, but the sickmaking annoying screentips on the mail pane still appear.
