When attempting to install Microsoft Office 2013, you may receive an error that says ”Windows cannot find C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office 15\clientx64\integratedoffice.exe“. To fix this problem, follow these steps.

1. Select Start, type regedit, then press Enter.

2. Navigate to the following location.

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  • SOFTWARE
  • Microsoft
  • Office

3. Delete the 15.0 folder.

Now restart the computer and try to install Office 2013 again. You should be able to make it through without the error message interrupting your progress.

I’ve got Windows 8 and am still trying to get to grips with it. Does anyone know if there is an Out of Office Assistant anywhere? I can’t find it.

We can’t thank you enough for these instructions. We purchase two laptops and Office 365. The first install went fine, but the second was a nightmare! No one seemed to know what to do. Thanks again!

Tap or mouse over the lower left corner. That will bring up your apps and you can just start typing commands from there.

I can’t thank you enough! I had bought office 365 from Staples, but was having difficulties downloading it. After going to their tech support, they had said that they would need to completely wipe my hard drive and reload everything to fix this problem, and that would cost me $39.99. I was determined there was a better solution, especially since my laptop is brand new and shouldn’t be having problems like this. After a couple of hours of searching, I came across this and decided to follow the steps-what do I have to lose? It was so easy to follow, and after deleting the file, I went back to start the set-up, and to my surprise, it worked!! I can’t thank you enough!!
