Nook: Archive/Unarchive Books or Periodicals

in Hardware

Archiving a book or magazine on your Barnes & Noble Nook is like deleting the item from the device, only it will leave behind a grayed-out selection of the item in the archived items view.

1. Navigate to the Home screen and tap my library on the lower touch screen.

2. Select Go to My B&N Library at the top of the menu. If the option reads Go to My Documents, you are already in the right place and can skip this step.

3. Using the arrows on the left side of the lower display, highlight the book you wish to delete.

4. Tap Item details & options.

If there comes a day when you want your book or magazine back from the archive, you can pull it back with these steps.

1. Navigate to the Home screen and tap my library on the lower touch screen.

2. Select Go to My B&N Library at the top of the menu. If the option reads Go to My Documents, you are already in the right place and can skip this step.

3. Select Change view.

4. Select Show archived items.

5. Select the book or magazine in the list. It should be grayed out because it’s archived.

6. Choose Unarchive.

7. Tap OK at the Are you sure… prompt.

I archived four books, The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. Two I was able to recover but the other books were not there. Help me please. And what can I use my
sd card for? May I order books from other sources, like Best Buy?
