Hard Reset Nexus One

Perform a hard reset on the Nexus One smartphone if it is freezing up and having consistent problems. This will wipe all data off the device and start you off again with the factory defaults.

1. Pull the battery from the device.

2. Place the battery back in.

3. While the phone restarts, press and hold Volume Down and Power together until a yellow triangle appears.

4. Select Recovery.

5. Select Wipe.

6. Select Wipe data/factory reset.

The phone will then complete the hard reset.
