Airplane mode puts your Nexus One in a state where it cannot send or receive data or make and receive phone calls. It’s a mode that’s ideal when on an airplane, at a meeting or movie theater. You can turn Airplane Mode on or off with these steps:

Option 1:

1. Press and hold the Power button for about 2 seconds.

2. Tap Airplane mode.

Option 2:

1. From the Home screen, press Menu.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap Wireless & networks.

4. Check Airplane mode to enable it. Uncheck it to disable it.
