Motorola Droid: Turn Wi-Fi On or Off

Hook up to a WiFi network connection using your Motorola Droid.

1. From the home screen, press the Menu button.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap Wireless & networks.

4. Check Wi-Fi to enable it. Uncheck it to disable it.

      This there a Droid app that allows one to text message over WiFi while in airplane mode? I know u can use WiFi in airplane mode, I was looking for an app that allows texting.
