Motorola Droid: Enable/Disable Background Data

As you install more and more apps on your Motorola Droid, you may become concerned with the data that some apps may share while running in the background. The more syncing and sending of data that happens in the background, the more rapidly your battery gets depleted. You can choose to turn Background data on or off with these steps.

1. From the Home screen, press Menu and select Settings or tap the app slider and choose Settings.

2. Scroll down a bit and select Accounts & sync.

3. Check Background data to enable it or uncheck it to disable it.
