This doesn’t work for a Droid 4. You can add all the accounts you want, but it does not give you the option to remove any. SO IRRITATING.

My Yahoo account wasn’t updating, so I deleted it and tried to add it back in. Every time I try to add it, anerror message says, “You have already added this account,” but it is not listed among the accounts I can sync or read. Pls help.

Thanks for the info!!! Very helpful!

    Daniel,
Regarding the removal of your old gmail account, make sure that it is not the account that you used to set up gmail on your droid or that you don’t have 2 gmail accounts synced. That could be the reason you cannot remove it.

I’ve been trying to delete a gmail account I no longer use and this tap and hold method is not working. When I try to follow this instruction it opens up the account.

Amazingly simple. I too have been working on this for days. Thanks for the quick help!

This was very helpful. Although I don’t know why I was getting invalid username/password when it was working just fine, other than I changed my yahoo password and maybe there was a syncing issue that did not pick up the new password.
