You may want to clear the browser cache, history or cookies on the Amazon Kindle Fire to keep things tuned up and working properly when browsing the Internet. Here’s how.

1. Tap Web to open the Browser.

2. Tap the Menu button at the bottom of the screen, then select Settings.

3. Scroll down and select Clear all cookie data, Clear cache or Clear history as desired.

4. A dialog should appear where you can confirm your selection. Tap OK to proceed.

That’s it! You’ve successfully cleared the Kindle Fire Browser Cache, History and Cookies. Perform these steps every couple of months or so or whenever the browser seems slow or sluggish.

Mitch,
I tried to fill out an subscription for huluplus, with the intention of using
of using the service to download videos on my kindle fire. All went well except the said my email address was already used! How can that be?

I had my kindle fire looked at by an expert and he said there’s a defect in the device that wont allow complete deletion of viewed history. It’s a bug Amazon just doesn’t want to acknowledge let alone fix. Great. Just great. Then the guy tells me “I hate to say it but you get what you pay for.”

I recently saw that people in the Amazon forums have been complaining about this issue. There’s no way around it and it’s something that Amazon has to acknowledge and fix with an update.
