SubscribeiTunes: No Sound After 7.6 Upgrade
Posted on Feb 26, 2008 under Software Tips |There have been many users of iTunes that have hit a problem when they upgraded to version 7.6. After the upgrade, problems are occurring where no audio is playing.
The problem appears to be with QuickTime, which is bundled with iTunes. Some users downgraded to an older version of iTunes or QuickTime to fix the problem. However now there appears to be a fix available. You can simply download the new version of QuickTime.

As suggested I downloaded the latest version of Quick time and this solved the problem of no sound on my computer, until I turned off my computer. When I rebooted there was no way I could get any sound anywhere on my computer. I have tried downloading an earlier version of Itunes. But my computer refuses to do this now. Help!
