iPod Touch: Reset All Settings

If you’ve changed a ton of settings on your iPod Touch and just want to go back to the way they all were, there’s a setting for that.

1. From the Home screen, select Settings.

2. Tap General.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Reset.

4. Tap Reset All Settings.

5. Tap Reset All Settings again to confirm your selection.

All iPod Touch preferences and settings are reset. Contacts, music, videos, etc. are not deleted.

I did the reset all settings on my i touch. Now it will not restart. The apple comes on and that is all. When I try to sync it to the computer the computer doesn’t even recognize any new software. What now?

i reset my i-touch 8 gig i pressed erase all content and settings but now i cant use my i-touch it wont sync to my i tunes or even show up on my computer there is a apple logo on it and a loading wheel but its been like that for a day. Canyou help me?

I have some problem with my iphone 4. I go in to setting-general
but cannot see anything under general pages. I can see other like personal hotspot, wi-fi,location service and other…

I am trying to do reset all settings on this ipod touch i got from a friend but when i do it wants a passcode but no one knows what it is can u help me?

I have the same issue. My sister gave me hers with all this great music and family pictures. Does this mean I can’t add to the music on my own? itunes won’t recognize my account nor allow me to use her account (she gave me her password and permission-I’d just pay her!) but it’s still a “no-go” can anyone help Kelly and I? Thanks~

Connect it to a computer with iTunes using the USB cable.
