iPhone 3G S: Record Video

You can now record video on the iPhone 3G S. Here’s how:

1. Open the Camera application.

2. Slide the Camera/Video switch over to Video.

3. Tap the Record button (button with the red dot). The red dot starts flashing while it records the video. To focus the video on a certain area, simply tap it. Tap the Record button when you wish to stop recording.

When recording Video on the new iPhone 3Gs, if you want to import the video into iMovie, it will appear sideways when first imported and you will have to rotate it when editing. The end result is video which is slim and not wide on the screen. The solution to this problem is easy, just rotate the iPhone sideways when filming with the video icon in the upper right corner.
