Deleting email messages in the iPhone 3G email application can be tough for people to figure out. Once you figure it out it’s simple though.

1. On the screen, simply draw a cross across the email you wish to delete.

2. Press the Delete button.

To delete multiple messages, select Edit, check off the desired emails, and then choose Delete.
