When you try to access an FTP site using Internet Explorer, you get an error:

Page cannot be displayed

There are a couple of things that commonly cause this. The first is that FTP access or port 21 is blocked on your firewall. If that is not the case, try the following:

1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options.

2. Click the Advanced tab.

3. Under Browsing and check box Enable folder view for FTP sites.

4. Click OK.

5. Close and restart Internet Explorer.
