Hey Jim and Russel

To disable the yellow information bar for local files, change the automatic prompting options in the local intranet level, instead of the internet settings. That should work.

Hi I have managed to turn of the yellow information bar about activex controls. But this only works for outside files. When I load htm files from my local hard drive the information bar comes up. How do I disable the information bar for local files. (Note: All the appropriate settings ENABLE activeX, ENABLE downloads have been set)
Thanks
