We had a tutorial for Deleting Saved Passwords in Internet Explorer, and a visitor commented about his usernames still being stored. He wanted that to be cleared also.  Usernames would be considered Form data. Here’s how to clear stored Form data in Internet Explorer 7.

1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options.

2. Under the General tab, in the Browsing history area, click the Delete… button.

3. Click Delete forms… . Click Yes on the Are you sure… prompt.

Delete IE Forms

4. Click Close and then OK.

Alternate Method

1. Press the Windows key + R to bring up the Run dialog.

2. Type RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 16 and press Enter.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the tip.

I would like only to remove a specific form data. I have lots of useful form data saved, however, I also have for example: …. as default login for a website which is of course not correct.

Can I modify specific form data e.g. remove the …-data which I have now?
