IE7: Delete Saved Passwords

Want to get rid of the passwords that Internet Explorer has decided to save for you? Here’s how.

1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options.

2. Under the General tab, in the Browsing history area, click the Delete… button.

3. Click Delete passwords… . Click Yes on the Are you sure… prompt.

4. Click Close and then OK.

Alternate Method

1. Press the Windows key + R to bring up the Run dialog.

2. Type RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 32 and press Enter.

    I did these steps but my username is still stored.

    Both methods do not work. User names still appear. Ie7 WinXP
