HTC Rezound: How to Disable 4G/LTE

You may want to learn how to disable 4G/LTE on your Verizon HTC Rezound if you live in an area without 4G coverage or to simply save battery power. Fortunately, the Rezound has a setting within the Android OS that allows you to do this easily.

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Choose Wireless & networks.

3. Tap Mobile networks.

4. Tap Network mode and select CDMA only.

4G/LTE will then be turned off and your network connection on the HTC Rezound will only utilize a 3G connection.

If you’ll be switching from 4G to 3G regularly, you may want to install LTE Switch or LTE OnOff to allow quicker access to the setting.

    Hi Mitch,
I’m trying to activate the Rezound on Page Plus. The guy at the shop says he can’t do it because of the 4G. Seems like disabling the 4G so it runs on 3G should solve this problem, yes?
    Thanks!
