If you are transferring your SIM card from one device to your HTC HD7 and have contacts saved on it, importing them is a breeze.
1. From the Start screen, tap

2. Open the People app.
3. From the All screen, tap import SIM contacts.
4. Tap and hold people on top of the screen.
5. Tap Settings.
6. Choose how you want to sort and display the contacts, and then tap Import SIM contacts.

Yea, what if it is greyed out? Mine is as well…
