in Android, SmartPhone

Uninstall unwanted applications from the HTC Droid Incredible; Android smartphone to free up some space on the device (not that you really need it with 1GB).

1. From the Home screen, press Menu.

2. Tap Settings.

3. Tap Applications.

4. Tap Manage Applications.

5. Tap the program you wish to delete.

6. Tap Uninstall.

Uninstall option

You will then be rid of the uninstalled program on your Droid Incredible.

Cannot uninstall Slacker. I follow your instructions but the Uninstall key is shaded. Please help. Thanks.

how do I remove city ID?

City ID uses WAY too much battery — does it run something on the phone I don’t know about — NEED TO GET RID OF IT.

I wanted to know the same thing and could not find it… but if you have not figured out by now… you touch and hold the app or widget on the screen and drag to the bottom to the remove… it does not remove from the phone but just from the screen.

Perhaps uninstall and remove are two different ideas here. I understand that som apps are FOB with the phone, but how do you get it off the desktop/mainscreen?
