How to Set Wallpaper On iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

Set the image you wish to use for the lock screen or home screen wallpaper on the Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

From Settings

1. Tap the Settings icon.

2. Select Wallpaper.

3. Tap the lock/home screen image.

4. Tap Wallpaper or choose a Camera Roll to choose a photo.

5. Tap the image you wish to use.

6. If you selected Camera Roll, drag and pinch and zoom the photo to your liking. When finished, tap Set.

7. Select whether you wish to use the image for the Lock screen, Home screen, or Both.

From Photos

1. Open the Photos app.

2. Select the photo album that contains the photo you wish to use.

3. Select the photo you wish to use.

4. Tap the arrow in the lower-left corner of the screen.

5. Select Use as Wallpaper.

6. Drag to pan, or pinch to zoom in or out, until the photo looks the way you want then tap Set.

7. Select whether you wish to use the image for the Lock screenHome screen, or Both.

    Hello Mitch,

    I don’t know what my 2 year old son did to my Iphone 4 but now my Clock Screen has no wallpaper. It show everything and dark grey and white color but not the photo I picked for Clock Screen wallpaper. I tried many times to set as the steps above but the wallpaper only applied to the Home Screen. I chose “set both” and I chose set the “set clock screen” but neither case work. Please advice. Thank for your help
