How to reset your Zune device if it is not responding.
Press back and up at the same time. This should reset the device. You may also need to plug it into a power source. Also make sure the hold switch on the top of your Zune device is set to “off” while you are performing these steps.
Note: If your Zune has suddenly started feezing as of 12/31/2008, please read this article.
I accidently did this! I was pissed!
I rebooted my computer and my zune mg player will not resetup to my computer or any computer
umm my zune won’t let me use the touch pad at all and when I push up, down, left, or right it reacts as though I’m pushing the left so when I try to reset it it won’t allow me to the screen flickers once then goes normal

OK, this was only a temp fix. it is doing the same thing today, but worse. I cannot get it to reset again. I’ve had my Zune for a couple of years now and have never had a problem. Is it just something that happens as it gets older?
Worked like a charm. My touch pad was not responding and sticking sometimes. The reset worked perfectly.
