How to Reset Droid RAZR if Frozen

by Mitch

in Android, SmartPhone

If your Verizon Motorola Droid RAZR smartphone becomes frozen and won’t respond to taps on the screen or any of the hardware buttons, there is a special keystroke you can perform to reset it.

Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons on the right side of the device for about 10 seconds. The device will then restart as normal.

This comes in very handy since you cannot access the battery on the Droid RAZR to remove power from the device.

I echo all of the above! I’m on vacation across the country from my home, and my RAZR decides to freeze. You saved me a trip to the shop and the worry of what I would do if I had to fly home without a phone. I’m able to fully enjoy my last day here – Thank you, thank you!! :)
