How to Reset Droid RAZR if Frozen

If your Verizon Motorola Droid RAZR smartphone becomes frozen and won’t respond to taps on the screen or any of the hardware buttons, there is a special keystroke you can perform to force a reset.

Press and hold the “Volume Down” and “Power” buttons on the right side of the device for about 10 seconds or until the screen goes dark. The device will then restart as normal.

This comes in very handy since you cannot access the battery on the Droid RAZR to remove power from the device.

My phone said home screen not responding so I turned it off and back on no problem, then it said email not responding and I turned it off and back on and now it’s frozen on the start up screen and I did a reset and it just gets stuck on that screen and I can’t take the battery out. Help please because I’m afraid it’s going to overheat,
