Some people are asking how the heck they get back to Home when using the Google Chrome browser. They ask “Where is the Home button?” It’s not on the toolbar by default. You can enable the it though.

1. Click on the wrench in the upper right corner of the browser window.

2. Click Options.

Google Chrome Wrench Menu

3. Check the box that says Show Home button on the toolbar. Click Close. Done!

wow, thats some kind of stupid Google… I’m a “computer” person, my non “computer” friends unjustly think I’m some sort of computer whiz, I guess cause I know how to remove spy ware and install some RAM… but I had troubles figuring out where the hell the home button was… why on earth I’d want it disabled is beyond me… why they would make that the default setting is mind numbingly stupid… did they read a book “How to make people dismiss your new browser as junk in 10 seconds or less”, I mean the point is to take on IE right… so a) don’t open to my homepage when Install you and b) hide the button that take me to my home page… wow… I’m stunned how dumb that is… I can’t even guess how many people will not find this option.

No idea why they wouldn’t just add the Home button feature by default. It’s the main page I use at the beginning of every day and I often have to go back to it.

[...] Put the home button on the toolbar – a silly one, I know, but still I saw people asking this in some forums. Thanks goes to Technipages and others who wrote a Howto for this [...]
