Galaxy S6: Save Photo From MMS Text Message

Save a photo that was sent to your Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone via MMS text message.

  1. Open the “Messaging” app.
  2. Open the thread of messages that contain the photo.
  3. Tap and hold the photo for a couple of seconds.
  4. Select “Save attachment“.
  5. Select the check box next to the image.
  6. Select “Save“.

The photo is then stored on your Samsung Galaxy S6 and can be viewed in the “Download” folder using the “Gallery” app.

    Why do I have to have mobile data turned on to download and view an mms text attachment when I’m on wifi?? Does this use up my data??
