This tutorial will tell you how to hard reset your T-Mobile G2 smartphone. A hard reset will delete all data from the device and start you off with factory default settings.
1. Power off the phone. If the phone is unresponsive, pull the battery.
2. Press and hold the Volume Down button on the side of the phone while powering the phone back on.
3. When the menu appears, select Clear Storage by using the Volume buttons to change your selection. Press the Power button to choose the selection.
4. Press Volume Up for YES.
The G2 hard reset will then take a few moments to complete.
