You know how some web sites open up windows and make it where you can’t resize them? It’s annoying. Here’s how to prevent this.

1. In Firefox type about:config in the address bar and press ENTER.

2. Locate and double-click the entry for layout.frames.force_resizability to set the value to true.

    Another way is to do the following:

    Open the browser and click on Tools, Options, Content.

    Then click on the “Advanced” tab next to Javascript and in that menu, un check the “Move or resize existing windows” and click ok

    Neither one of the fixes here works for this one website that I visit. The messenger window opens in a new window, resized and cannot be modified, just closed. Still looking for the fix on this one…
