Enable/Disable Optimize Hard Drive When Idle

Registry hack to allow the computer to optimize the hard drive when it is idle.

Go to START–>RUN and type REGEDIT. This will open the registry editor. Find the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OptimalLayout

Set it to 0 for disabled, 1 for enabled.
