Enable/Disable Numlock at Login or Startup
Posted on Nov 18, 2007 under Registry Hacks |This registry hack controls whether the Numlock option is enabled or disabled when you first login to Windows.
Go to START–>RUN and type REGEDIT. This will open the registry editor.
Find the following registry key:
HKEY_USERS\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard
Change the value of InitialKeyboardIndicators
Set it to 0 to set NumLock OFF
Set it to 2 to set NumLock ON
