SubscribeEnable “Are you sure you want to uninstall” Prompt
Posted on Nov 19, 2007 under Registry Hacks |When you go to Add/Remove programs and try to remove a program, you don’t get the prompt:
Are you sure you want to uninstall program name
and you wish to bring it back.
1. Click Start, type REGEDIT and press ENTER
2. Click the plus sign next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
then Software
then Microsoft
then Windows
then CurrentVersion
then Explorer
then DontShowMeThisDialogAgain
3. Delete the value {948e51fb-0a48-44f0-86ac-33c36def540c}
4. Restart Windows.
