Droid Turbo Won’t Turn On

There have been a few times where my Motorola Droid Turbo has absolutely failed to power on. When pressing power a few times doesn’t do the job, here are some things you can try.

  • Plug the device in for a few seconds. Even if the battery appeared to be full before the problems, it may have drained quicker than you think.
  • Press and hold the “Power” and “Volume Down” buttons for about 20 seconds. This is a way to soft reset the phone.

If after these steps the Droid Turbo still won’t turn on, it may be time to call your dealer to see if you can swap it out for a new one.

Thank you so much! Mine “died” for the second time today. The first one, I had to have replaced which costed me! I wish I had looked at this site first. Verizon was telling me to hold those buttons down for 3 seconds which did nothing. The 20 seconds made all the difference. I would have saved me 150 bucks last time.
    Thanks again!

Thank you! My four week old Droid would not turn on but this worked for me: Press and hold the “Power” and “Volume Down” buttons for about 20 seconds. This is a way to soft reset the phone.
