Disable “Are you sure you want to move this file to the Recycle Bin?” Dialog
Posted on Nov 26, 2007 under Windows Vista Tips |Disable the dialog Are you sure you want to move this file to the Recycle Bin? when you delete a file in Windows Vista.
I like for items to just go directly to the recycle bin when I delete them. Here’s how to make Windows Vista do this:
1. Right-click on Recycle Bin and choose Properties.
2. Uncheck the box for Display delete confirmation dialog.
Now when you delete a file, the file will go directly to the Recycle Bin without the message appearing.
