BlackBerry Storm: Enable Call Forwarding

First you need to setup phone numbers you would like to forward calls to:
1. Open the Phone application (press the phone button).
2. Press Menu.
3. Select Options.
4. Select Call Forwarding.
5. Select the option for which calls you wish to forward.
6. Press Menu.
7. Select New Number.
8. Enter a phone number.
9. Press Enter.
10. Press Menu.
11. Select Close.
Now you can use the feature by selecting Options > Call Forwarding > Menu > select phone number > Menu > Save.

I do not have a “Call Forwarding” option on this screen. I check all the listed screens and they do not have it either. My OS is 4.7.0.65 Is this the problem?

Ditto. There is no call forwarding option. You can enable forwarding through Verizon–To Activate:
*72, phone number where you want calls to be forwarded, send and wait for confirmation. You should hear a confirmation tone or a message.
To Deactivate, *73 and SEND and wait for confirmation.
I prefer to do it through the device but it looks like we can’t at least for now.

Does it cost extra to go through verizon wireless for call forwarding?

If possible, would i be able to forward an individual number?…..wether it be a call or sms…
for example if “you” call me “your” number gets forwarded to another number…..and if “you” txt me our convo gets forwarded to another number…automatically….by the way this is for blackberry storm from telus……

after i update the application to 5
i couldnt see the forward function and its very bad for me what should i do

dial *71 and the area code and phone number you want to forward to. Ex. to forward to 310-555-1234, dial *713105551234 then hit send. You have to turn off your phone or at least the radio so that call get forwarded immediately. Remember to *71 and your number to forward calls back to your phone.
