If you are deleting multiple items on your BlackBerry Curve series smartphone, it can get irritating when you have to confirm the deletion on everything you try to delete. Here’s how to disable the Confirm Delete prompt.
1. Open an application.
2. Press Menu.
3. Select Options.
4. Select General Options.
5. Change the Confirm Delete to No.
6. Press Menu.
7. Select Save.
This should turn the prompt off.

I did the options to turn off the confirm delete and it will not change the option. When I go to the instructions that you gave me it is chosen confirm delete “NO” and it still prompts to confirm delete any other suggestions? I have 3 email accounts on the Blackberry Curve 8530 I tried to do them to every one but it always shows that the confirm Delete is “no” but it still promots to choose on handheld, on handheld and email account or cancel. It is very annoying.
