
BlackBerry Calendar Data Won’t Sync
Posted by Mitch on Sep 02, 2009 under BlackBerry Tips | 2 CommentsI recently discovered that the Calendar on by BlackBerry Curve had not been syncing with Outlook Calendar. I was baffled. Here’s how I fixed the problem:
1. On the handheld, open Options.
2. Select Advanced Options.
3. Select Default Services.
4. Change the Calendar (CICAL) setting to the proper calendar.
5. Press Menu > Save.
Now the calendar data syncs up just fine.
Worked like a charm and was so easy!! THANK YOU! I’ve been trying to get this to work for months after it suddenly quit and I got intellisyn errors. fyi, in step 4, change the calendar – mine was set to Facebook, a setting altered I believe, by Facebook-which is why it wasn’t syncing to my Outlook email!
You guys so totally rock!!! I’ve checked so many different websites to find out why I couldn’t sync my calendar and found nothing. Simple steps to do and it worked!! Thanks!!!
