Set the amount of time that elapses before the BlackBerry Bold 9000 series backlight times out and automatically shuts off.

1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.

2. Select Options.

3. Click Screen/Keyboard.

4. Enter the number of seconds for the Backlight Timeout field.

5. Press Menu.

6. Click Save.
